Love, Lies & Linguine by Hilary Spiers

Love, Lies & Linguine is story which follows on from Hester & Harriet.  I found this a bit disconcerting at first but then got really drawn in.  One of the things that dawned on me after a while was just how skilfully the relationship between the elderly sisters was drawn.  These two seemed to jump to assumptions and misunderstand each other all the time without it being at all intentional.  It really is a study on how sibling tensions can arise.

Much of the action takes place in Italy which is of interest as well.  And in another story line you follow events in the lives of the sister's friends at home in England.

If you enjoyed Hester & Harriet, you need to read this one.
